Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti or your favorite pasta
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  • Add the warm spaghetti to the bowl and toss to combine.
  • Top with fresh basil and serve immediately.

Notes

For added flavor, sprinkle with grated Parmesan or add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
