Ingredients

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 4 oz jarred pimentos drained and diced
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional, for a little heat
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the shredded cheddar cheese and diced pimentos
  • Add mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper
  • Stir until everything is evenly combined and creamy
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld
  • Serve chilled with crackers, sandwiches, or as a dip

Notes

• For a smoother texture, blend half of the mixture in a food processor before mixing it back in
• Use a combination of sharp and extra-sharp cheddar for a deeper flavor
• Keeps well in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container
