Loaded Lemon Iced Tea Recipe (Refreshing & Energizing)

This Loaded Lemon Iced Tea is a refreshing and energizing drink packed with bold flavors and nutrients. Made with a mix of tea, lemon, and a boost of energizing ingredients, it’s the perfect beverage to recharge on a hot day or after a workout.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed black tea or green tea
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp honey or agave syrup optional for sweetness
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper optional for a little kick
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp spirulina or matcha powder optional for an energy boost
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Brew the tea and let it cool to room temperature or refrigerate to chill quickly
  • In a large glass or shaker, mix the cooled tea with lemon juice, honey or agave syrup, cayenne pepper, apple cider vinegar, and spirulina or matcha powder
  • Stir or shake until everything is well combined
  • Add ice cubes to your glass and pour the mixture over the ice
  • Garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves if desired
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • For an extra-refreshing twist, add cucumber slices or a few sprigs of rosemary
  • Adjust the sweetness to your taste by adding more or less honey/agave syrup
  • This can be made in larger batches for meal prepping
