Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish
In the baking dish, mix uncooked rice, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and thyme until well combined
Place chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture and gently press them in
Dot the top with butter cubes for extra flavor
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes
Remove foil and check if the rice is tender and the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F or 75°C)
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
