These Chick-fil-A-style cookies are thick, chewy, and loaded with chocolate chunks and oats. With a rich buttery flavor and a slightly crisp edge, they’re the perfect homemade version of your favorite fast-food cookie!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • ½ cup milk chocolate chunks

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla extract
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
  • Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined
  • Fold in chocolate chunks until evenly distributed
  • Scoop dough onto the baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are soft
  • Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack

Notes

• For extra chewy cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking
• Use a mix of semi-sweet and milk chocolate for the signature Chick-fil-A taste
• Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days
